Resource Generation, a group of young people who grew up wealthy, wish to give something back. They published a letter this week that implies advocacy and participation in structural change that will ultimately improve the resourcing of schools in Pennsylvania.
These wealthy young people would rather have the government tax them more. They also plea for the elimination of tax havens and loopholes that allow wealthy people to lump in sums and hold onto wealth.
Resource Generation petitions to make policies that require businesses to respect people over profit, and fund organizing efforts by teachers, parents, students and community members that are keyed on establishing wellfunded, locally-run public schools.
