Social entrepreneur and author of The Purpose Economy, Aaron Hurst, has hatched a plan to take over LinkedIn with a purpose-driven replacement called Imperative.
Hurst, currently the CEO of Imperative, envisages a world where people establish a sense of purpose with virtually everything they do, including how and where they work, socialize, consume food and products, and even how they take trips and vacations. From the organization’s description, Imperative is “a movement to evolve the economy into one driven by purpose. We believe in a more human world where by better understanding our purpose, we are able to unite to better solve the world’s problems.”
