Kiva, the leading online “microfinance” for good that enables individuals lend as little as $25 to help create opportunities for positive individual and communal transformations, is launching Kiva Labs.
Kiva Labs is an initiative that intends to pull $25 million in loans for clean energy, mobile technology, and agriculture. Kiva won the Global Impact Award, where it earned $3 million from Google to fund the project. Kiva Labs wants to fill the gap between innovation and resources to scale big ideas.
