Global companies like General Motors, Wal-Mart, Bloomberg, Facebook, Hewlett-Packard, Intel, Johnson & Johnson, Mars, Novelis, Sprint, Proctor and Gamble and REI are calling out for necessary market changes to make it easier to buy and access more renewable energy.
These global companies are hoping that by addressing their common goals of endorsing green energy usage, it will help propel and create market changes. These companies collectively want to acquire 8.4 million MWH of renewable energy annually, which can power about 800,000 homes. These companies were brought together by the World Wildlife Fund, in collaboration with the World Resources Institute.
