Fashion ComPassion director Ayesha Mustafa discusses the inspiration, rewards and challenges of creating and managing her sustainable online fashion retailer.
To date, Fashion ComPassion is currently working with 15 brands, from 20+ women co-operatives in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. The social enterprise helps them with designs, product creation and expansion into new markets. According to Ayesha, “I wanted to create a platform that could directly help the most marginalized.”
