There are signs that the social enterprise sector is going to be one of the biggest games in the coming decade, but tech giants such as Google, Microsoft, SalesForce and Oracle still have yet to tap into this kind of market.
It’s not so easy and simple to be a ‘social enterprise’, but it seemed the sector is to be the next ‘gold rush’ for enterprise software makers. According to International Data Corporation (IDC), spending by large enterprise on social software alone is supposed to reach $1 billion per year over the next four years.
